How to learn Arabic words
September 30, 2009 by arabicgenie
Hi everyone!
This is my first post on this forum, so I hope this is posted in the right category.
One of the easiest ways to learn new words in a foreign language is to leverage what you know already about that language from your own language. For instance, I can simply take 80% of the English words ending in -tion and transform them into Spanish words by replacing the ending with -ción (siuation -> situación; nation -> nación etc.).
Now, for linguistically unrelated languages this strategy is not as straightforward. However, I did some research and found 200 words in the English language that are actively used in Arabic too. These are words such as "kahf" (cave), "TamaaTim" (tomatoes), "iliktrooni" (electronic) and many more. I wrote these words up in a eBook, which you cna download for free from my site:

I hope you will find this useful.
